Each therapy is designed to target and treat specific tensions and stresses, helping you relax and recover in mind and body. Depending on your needs, I can recommend therapies, or work with you to build a bespoke treatment programme.

Reflexology

Reflexology is a relaxing treatment using pressure massage to stimulate reflex points on the feet. These points relate to specific parts of the body, and with targeted pressure, they help to release tension and promote healing across the body.

  • Classic Reflexology

    Helping to restore the body’s natural balance, classic reflexology promotes the free flow of energy, aiding sleep, improving mood and supporting general wellbeing.

  • Lymphatic Drainage Reflexology

    This specialist reflexology helps to reduce the swelling caused by lymphedema. By aiding the flow of lymph, this specialism also supports the body in processing and eliminating waste products, helping conditions such as Fibromyalgia, CFS/ME, RA and other conditions linked to stress and fatigue.

  • Nerve Reflexology

    Working directly with the nervous system, Nerve Reflexology uses over 100 reflex points to relieve and manage pain. It also helps to treat conditions caused or influenced by the nervous system.

  • Maternity Reflexology

    Connecting the body and the mind in what can be a challenging time both physically and emotionally, this specialist practice supports conception, pregnancy and beyond.

    Seated Acupressure Massage

    Based on the principles of Anma, a traditional Japanese massage literally meaning ‘press and rub,’ this revitalizing massage works directly on the back, neck, shoulders, head and arms. The practice helps by:

    Sports & Deep Tissue Massage

    These deeper forms of massage treatment help to relieve tension, relax tight muscles and strengthen muscle fibres.

    Supporting your body both pre- and post-event, sports massage works to help the body flush out waste products built up in the muscles during exercise. This reduces tension and swelling, and promotes healing. Sports Massage also aids rehabilitation, preventing the build up of excessive scar tissue and helping the body forestall any injuries that might arise down the line.

    Instilling deep relaxation and helping stiff joints to loosen, deep tissue massage helps the body eliminate toxins and waste products, alleviating fatigue and soothing minor aches and pains.


    Hot Stone Therapy

    Massage with hot stones enhances relaxation, helps to reduce stress and anxiety, and promotes deep relief of mucle tension. Depending on your needs, the therapy can work as a stand-alone treatment, or the hot stones can be used as part of a sports or deep tissue massage.

    Indian Head Massage concentrates on the areas holding most tension: the face, neck, shoulders and upper back. In doing so, it can treat symptoms of stress, improve circulation, promote hair growth, and relieve eye strain, headaches, sinusitis and insomnia.

    Through various stretches, exercises and breathing techniques, regular yoga practice supports health, improves mobility, and brings calm and balance to your whole life.

    I offer advice and guidance on how yoga techniques and breathing exercises can work hand-in-hand with other complementary therapy sessions, creating a bespoke, holistic treatment programme to suit your needs, whether that's releasing tension, extending your range of movement or aiding relaxation.

    I offer bespoke individual or small group sessions in yoga foundations, mobility and stretch by appointment.
